this is my cousin and i awhile back. his name is dean.
yesterday, his best friend was pronounced dead. his death was caused from an overdose of ecstasy and sleeping pills. now, i knew that at that moment, his best friend’s death would either make him or break him. dean has been through so much in his life. he has gone through depression for years, and has been suicidal many times. we grew up in the same duplex for ten years of our lives, and we have always been very close. he is like a brother to me. 

now, his best friends death, broke him. my cousin is now in the hospital.

he felt that because his closest friend died, he had nothing to live for. his best friend also decided to tell him ‘you better not let me die alone’ the night that he died. so a bottle of pills and god knows what else later, my cousin was found and hospitalized. he is very unstable. his heart rate is changing rapidly. it’s speeds up extremely high and drops extremely fast. he is hallucinating and he doesn’t even know what reality is anymore..

the point of this whole message is that i was hoping and praying that the people on tumblr would reblog this and keep my cousin in their prayers and hearts..

i’m absolutely terrified about my cousin, and if he does make it through this suicide attempt, i can show him this and let him know that he does mean something to this world and that he shouldn’t try to leave it ever again. his dad told me that sometimes when people reach this state, their brain locks and they may be stuck like this forever.. so please, please, i’m asking you all a personal favor to share this and pray for him..

he means the world to me. ♥
